Our contests completely redefine literary contests. The best poem doesn’t when you a feature or a snippet in the local best journal, our contest winners get their manuscripts published.

Every month we pick a winner based on a given set of criteria and we award that winner our Option 1 Chapbook Package which includes 5 copies of your printed, bound and published word art.

There is no fee to enter most of our contests and someone wins every month.

How our contests work:

You will submit 1-2 pieces of your writing before the deadline listed in the contest of your choice. We judge your work based on a set of criteria which you will find listed for each contest.

Once the winner has been chosen we will e-mail them at the address they provide to submit their full manuscript (which should conform to the format listed in the contests submission guidelines). The winner has exactly 72 hours to submit their manuscript (which should include the winning piece that was submitted). If the winner’s manuscript is not received within 72 hours they will forfeit their prize and the first alternate will be notified.

After the winning manuscript is received and checked for the correct formatting, the winner will receive their published collection within 30 days.
